Štěpánka has a Master’s Degree in Chinese philology focusing on translation and interpreting from Palacky University in Olomouc. Before joining Polaron, Štěpánka worked as an interpreter at a Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre and lived in China in Xi’an for a year
