How did grandpa Moszek become Morris? Jewish people’s names changed as they immigrated from Poland, sometimes several times. The workshop will cover the history and development of Jewish given names and surnames. We will cover the importance of understanding the changes when undertaking family research.

Delivered by Eva Hussain, CEO at Polaron, Deputy President of the Australian Society of Polish Jews, a world expert on Polish citizenship, archival research and language services.
